Dentists
Shaila Miah BDS Lond 2005 MFDS RCS

Dr Miah graduated from GKT (London) with Honors in 2005, and obtained her postgraduate qualification MFDS in 2007. She undertook her Vocational Training in South West Essex in 2006, prior to gaining experience as a Senior House Officer in Maxillo-facial surgery at Basildon Hospital in 2007.
Dr Miah enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is a valued member of the team.

Sanna Ayub BDS Lond 2010

Dr Sanna Ayub graduated from Bart's and the London in 2010. She completed her vocational training in Kent, Sussex and Surrey deanery. After Vocational training Sanna realised she loved working in general practice and has continued to practice as an associate.
Sanna has completed part one of her MJDF exam and has completed short courses in aesthetic dentistry. She takes a particular interest in restorative dentistry.
Aside of dentistry Sanna is an avid reader and takes a keen interest in history and travelling.

Saima Undre BDS King's College London 2018

Dr Saima Undre graduated from Kings College London in 2018 and is passionate about delivering high quality dentistry to her patients. She has a keen interest in cosmetic/aesthetic treatments and has undertaken various courses for composite bonding and short-term orthodontics.
Saima is currently completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry to expand the dental care she can offer her patients. Her empathetic and caring nature also makes her a favourite when treating anxious and nervous patients.
In her free time, Saima likes to travel and enjoys reading. She is also a very keen baker!

Jasmine Pannu BDS Magadh 2004 Statutory Exam 2008

Dr Jasmine Pannu has been working as a qualified dentist since 2004 and joined the Wickford Dental Practice & Orthodontic Centre team in July 2020.
After qualifying in India, Jasmine successfully completed the International Qualifying Examination (IQE) to start practice in the UK in 2009. She Completed her vocational training in South London and also attained further qualification MJDF Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons, London.
Jasmine is passionate about dental care and always has a patient centred approach in treatment planning. She strongly believes in minimally invasive and biomimetic approach. As a passionate dentist, she’s constantly seeking to learn and adapt to the latest developments in the field of dentistry, and is currently undertaking a PG Diploma in Implantology. Her areas of expertise include basic dental treatments like Root Canal Therapy, Crowns and Bridges, smile design & enhancement treatments and aesthetic fillings.
In her spare time, Jasmine is devoted to her family and enjoys socialising with friends.

Shaleza attended Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls in Elstree, after which she graduated from Kings College, School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London in 2000 to become a dentist.
She completed her Vocational Training in Boston, Lincolnshire in 2001 and then worked in mixed practices in London from 2001-2006.
Shaleza worked as a Private Dentist in Surrey from 2006-2018 and presently works in mixed practices in London as well as Wickford Dental Practice & Orthodontic Centre.
In her spare time, Shaleza enjoys listening to music, singing, playing chess and travelling. She has a keen interest in charity and Human Rights and has been a member of Amnesty International since the age of 14.

Sundari graduated from Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences in Pondicherry in 2007, she then went on to register as a dentist in the UK in 2021.
Sundari is passionate about delivering high quality dentistry to her patients. She enjoys carrying out aesthetic treatments and has a keen interest in endodontics, for which she has undertaken various courses.
She always does her upmost to create a calm and friendly atmosphere in the dental surgery, and makes a conscious effort to ensure her patients are feeling nice and relaxed throughout their appointment.
In her leisure time, Sundari loves to be creative, and enjoys painting and drawing. She is also devoted to her family and likes to spend as much time as possible with her children. She speaks Tamil, English and some French.

Dr Supriya is a dedicated and skilled dentist practicing in the UK after successfully qualifying the rigorous Overseas Registration Exam (ORE) in 2023. She has completed her Bachelor’s in dental surgery from India, together with a Master’s in Healthcare Management, and Part 1 of the MJDF exam.
With a comprehensive background in general dentistry, Dr Supriya excels in providing a wide range of dental services, including preventative care, restorative treatments, cosmetic dentistry, and emergency dental procedures. Her philosophy is centred around patient education and preventive care, empowering patients to maintain optimal oral health.
Outside of her practice, Dr Supriya continually seeks opportunities for professional development through attending courses in order to stay up to date. She is passionate about teeth whitening, veneers and other aesthetic dental procedures, pursuing advanced training in the same. Her dedication, expertise, and genuine care make her a trusted and respected dentist in the practice.

Dr Sherlock qualified from Kings College, London in 1996, obtaining his FDS RCS in 1999, and obtained his specialist orthodontic qualifications in 2005.
He completed his Vocational Training in 1998 at BHB Community Health Care Trust, and undertook positions in Private Dental Practice form 1999 to 2006, then as Specialist Registrar in Orthodontics at Kings College (London) from 2002 to 2005. Dr Sherlock then furthered his career as Senior Registrar and Honorary Lecturer at Glasgow University Dental Hospital & School from 2006 to 2008, prior to joining Wickford Dental Practice & Orthodontic Centre, where he is a valued member of the team.
Dr Sherlock is an active member of the British Orthodontic Society.

Orthodontic Therapist

Joanna started her career in dentistry as a dental nurse with a very strong interest in Orthodontics. In 2010 she applied for a place at the University of Bristol and was accepted. Joanna studied hard and gained her qualification as an Orthodontic Therapist, graduating from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2011. Since then she has expanded her experience through working with private and NHS patients in Essex, Kent, and London. Joanna has worked at Wickford Dental Practice & Orthodontic Centre since April 2023 and thoroughly enjoys helping our lovely patients to achieve the best result in their orthodontic treatment.
Joanna loves her job and takes great pride in her work, as well as enjoying the friendly working environment.

Manav qualified from University of Bristol in 2024 and then went on to complete his foundation training in the Cornwall and West Devon Scheme. During his training year, he gained extensive experience in various treatments including composite and amalgam fillings, root canal treatments and crowns.
Manav is passionate about every aspect of general dentistry, and is developing an interest in short term orthodontics, clear aligners and restorative dentistry. He aims to provide a friendly and welcoming environment for everyone, especially nervous and first-time patients.
Manav is keen to ensure he is up-to-date with the latest techniques in order to provide the best care for his patients, particularly involving minimally invasive procedures.
Outside of dentistry, Manav enjoys travelling ticking off places from his bucket list and being in nature as much as possible.
Hygienist

She is a dedicated and enthusiastic Hygienist/Therapist with excellent interpersonal and clinical skills, having experience in treating a diverse range of patients. Patient comfort and confidence is important to Shanjida, so she always creates a calm and friendly atmosphere to make the patient experience as relaxing as possible.
Prior to her Hygienist role, Shanjida qualified as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Dhaka university, Bangladesh.
She is thoroughly enjoying her time at Wickford Dental Practice & Orthodontic Centre, and tries to maintain a healthy work/life balance. Shanjida has two young girls and enjoys travelling the world with them. She also has a special interest in cooking and fitness.

Sarah is a dedicated Dental Hygienist with a passion for promoting oral health and creating bright smiles. With her years of experience in dentistry since 2012, Sarah takes pride in educating patients about the importance of oral hygiene and providing gentle, compassionate care.
Outside of the dental practice, Sarah is a proud parent to three beautiful children who bring joy and laughter to every day. Balancing family life with a fulfilling career is a challenge that Sarah embraces wholeheartedly, and when not busy with work or family activities, you can find Sarah spending quality time with friends and exploring the great outdoors with Finley, the family dog. Sarah is also an avid golf enthusiast and relishes spending time on the course with her husband.
Whether it's caring for patients, time with her family or enjoying a round of golf. Sarah believes in living life to the fullest and cherishing every moment.

Jurgita qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the University of Essex in 2023. She has worked in dentistry for 10 years, starting as a dental nurse in 2016.
